Jim was born and raised in Knoxville TN which he calls home. He has been successful in the startup and selling of several businesses in the Knoxville area. Jim’s responsibilities were day-to-day operations, sales, marketing, financials, banking, and employee management.
Jim is a full time REALTOR® and has been a member of The Knoxville Area Association of REALTORS® since 2004. Jim has helped many residential and industrial clients with the purchase and sale of their properties.
Jim has been privileged to serve on Grievance Committee 2006 & 2007, Professional Standards Ethics 2008, and Residential MLS 2008 & Chairman 2009, Professional Standards Arbitration 2009 and Budget Committee 2009. While serving on these committees, he learned a lot about the experience and dedication that our members bring to our organization.
Before becoming a Real Estate, Affiliate Broker Jim’s background was Industrial, Specialty and Cryogenic Gas as well as Robotic Welding Equipment sales, operations, and business management. Jim started an Industrial and Cryogenic Gas Company in 1994. After a very successful five years of building the business, a large competitor in Atlanta GA bought Jim’s business. Jim worked for the company as the Manager of The East Tennessee Division for five years. A fifteen-year non-competition agreement was part of the purchase agreement, which meant Jim had to find a second career. He chose real estate. Jim built his business on Honesty, Ethics, and Excellent Customer Service. Jim continues to give every client the same Honesty, Ethics, and Excellent Customer Service.
